Axelio strengthens its position as a full-service Microsoft partner with the acquisition of iqbs (Press release)

Axelio is expanding its growing group of Microsoft partners with the acquisition of iqbs. By joining forces with this specialist in the Microsoft Data Platform and Power BI, based in Bunnik, Axelio is now able to support its clients even more comprehensively in realising their digital ambitions.
Overname door Axelio

iqbs is the fifth organisation to become part of Axelio, following Pixelzebra, Xperit, Newminds and BEND. With this addition, the collective of companies, which already specialises in ERP, CRM and Modern Workplace, now also possesses expertise in business intelligence. iqbs is thus a valuable new addition to Axelio’s existing Microsoft portfolio, further solidifying its position as a full-service Microsoft partner. Moreover, with locations in Nootdorp, Barneveld, Hilversum, Hengelo, Zwolle and Groningen, the Bunnik-based company contributes to a nationwide presence.

A guide in digitalisation

The acquisition of iqbs fits seamlessly within Axelio’s strategy. With this new asset, the group of Microsoft partners strengthens its role as a guide in the digitalisation of medium-sized organisations. Axelio is now even better positioned to guide clients towards their long-term goals. The group of specialists achieves this with a broad range of Microsoft solutions that help further digitalise business processes and unlock information.

A win-win situation for clients

Frank van der Woude, CEO of Axelio, is pleased to welcome iqbs as a new specialist within the group. ‘As a partner on the journey, we aim to offer our clients a complete set of solutions’, he says. ‘We are now further fulfilling this ambition by adding iqbs to our group. We can now also assist clients with expertise in Power BI and building scalable data platforms. Conversely, our group can offer iqbs clients additional Microsoft solutions and services. It’s a win-win situation.’

Focus on client-centricity and entrepreneurship

With its medium-sized scale and innovative company culture, iqbs is a perfect fit for Axelio and the phase of growth the group is experiencing. ‘Short lines of communication with clients, quick decision-making with colleagues – these are familiar to both of us’, says Van der Woude. ‘Moreover, we share the same values, along with a focus on client-centricity and entrepreneurship.

Accelerated growth

René Berends, Managing Director at iqbs, agrees. ‘We have a positive feeling about Axelio’s strategy and the people who work there. We look forward with confidence to our future as part of this growing group of Microsoft specialists. This will enable us to serve our clients even better. Furthermore, we see many opportunities with Axelio’s existing clients. By joining, we are also tapping into a vast source of knowledge and expertise that exists within the group. All these benefits combined make us well-positioned to accelerate our growth as an organisation.

Familiar faces

For iqbs clients, nothing will change apart from the new benefits. They can continue to rely on the trusted service from familiar faces. The existing partnerships with Korade and erp|open will also remain in place.  The current management team of iqbs will stay as it is.
