Retrospective; an iqbs brush-up this past summer
This past summer, iqbs organized three interactive workshops in the area of SSRS, Power BI and Excel. We would like to thank all enthusiastic participants who brushed up on their skills this summer. Due to great success, iqbs will organize another Summer School in 2018.
Summer School Excel
Excel is by far the most used reporting tool in the world. This certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed at iqbs. 90% of our customers use Excel as a reporting tool in some form or other. But how do you create a nice graph, how does a sparkline work and what are the benefits of power pivot exactly? In this summer school, participants learned everything there is to know about pivot tables on cubes, data tables and queries, slicers and graphs.
Summer School SSRS
For all participants who managed to create a nice data warehouse in SQL Server, but were still unable to produce the right management reports, we organized this one-day Summer School SSRS. SQL Reporting Services is the perfect tool for automatically generating reports in beautiful visualizations and periodically sharing them with the desired recipients. At the end of the day, participants were able to effortlessly create, automatically generate and periodically share reports.
Summer School Power BI
There’s good reason why Power BI is currently the number one tool in the field of Business Intelligence. Because Microsoft continuously adds new features with its monthly updates, Power BI has quickly become the subject of discussion when it comes to the visualization of management reports. Microsoft actively listens to its community, where users can submit ideas for new features, which are subsequently voted for by the community. In other words, new features are added every month! During this Summer School, participants learned how to create both dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Missed a Summer School?
No time this past summer? No worries! We will once again organize various events in the field of Power BI, Infor and SAP after the summer period. You are very much welcome!
